October SheetLoads Now Available!

It is time for a new issue of SheetLoad of Cards!! The October '09 issue is ready for download at the SheetLoad blog.

This issue was sponsored by DRS Designs and features a fabulous sketch by Ann. We were lucky enough to have Cathy, DT Coordinator from DRS Designs, and some of her fabulous DT members join us in the issue.

Here's my first card from this versatile sketch:

Stamps: DRS Designs (Halloween Lookout L253, Tiny Happy Halloween A042, Vicki's Versatile Background H369, Star Background H124); Ink: Stampin' Up (Creamy Caramel), Tsukineko (Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark); Markers: Stampin Up (Black); Cardstock: Stampin' Up (Kraft, Black, Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango); Die Cut: Spellbinders (Rectangle Nestabilities); Embossing: Stampendous powder (Stardust); Other: Sakura (Stardust glitter pen), unknown (velvet brad, scallop scissors).

I call this my Clean and Simple version because the layout is straight from the sketch -- no extra layers and the 'designer paper' is all made by stamping images on plain cardstock. I did add a few fun homemade embellishments which you can view in more detailed photos on today's DRS Designs' blog post.

Make sure to check out the eZine or the top of the blog for DRS Designs' ad... they have a special offer for SheetLoad readers!
