Fight Like a Girl!

Last week I learned a friend of mine was out of remission for ovarian cancer and needed to go through another round of chemo. I made a card based on Sweet Sunday sketch #41 using this wonderful 'Hope Fights' image by Whimsie Doodles to let her know I'm cheering for her through this very rough repeat chemo session.

Did you know the awareness ribbon for this cancer is teal? Here's a website that lists colors for hundreds of awareness ribbons. This image is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, but it's perfect for any of these battles!
