Have you seen the adorable images by Mo Manning yet? I fell in love with the cute and creative little gal, Bella, and her faithful pooch, Bronte, the first time I saw them. Check out their adventures, along with the other fun images (such as the rascally Sinatra above) on Mo's blog, The Digital Pencil.
Now Mo has a brand new challenge blog, too!! The first challenge is to create a project using Bella and Bronte's favorite color 'perple'. It was a bigger challenge than expected since I realized I only had one sheet of purple DP. Instead of heading out to my LSS, keep reading to see how I came up with the great DPs in the card.
The news keeps getting better -- Mo is extremely generous with the freebies! Check out her blog, or join her groups on Papercraft Planet or SNR Card Universe (links are on Mo's side bar) and you will have several adorable images to join in the challenge fun!
That's not the end of freebies, either. Surfing the net can be rewarding, like when I found the Fred, She Said site. Tracey 'Fred' Miller is also extremely generous with free images and digital DPs like the striped and textured purples I used on Sinatra's card. Check out some of her fabulous freebies and amazing projects HERE.
At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, that's not all! At Squigglefly I found a perfect pawprint paper that I printed over top of the textured purple paper from Fred, She Said. Isn't it fun how you can layer with the digital images?
Last, but certainly not least, I used the Midnight Madness Sketch #22 to pull all these elements together.
See, who says cardmaking has to be so expensive?? Of course, now that I have these free samples, I've seen so many store items I 'need' to buy!
Oh Jessica..this is just so dang A-DOR-A-BLE!!! love that fibers they fit perfectly. What a cute card and wonderful take on the sketch. Reminders.. you can get an extra entry for the MMSC22 Weekly Bonus Prize just for adding the Blog Hop logo to your side bar. Thank you so much for playing the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge this week.
