Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #59! Here is our sketch for this week:

Our sponsor this week is Prairie Fairy Designs which provided this elegant 'The Geisha' image. I'll admit that I just don't do Asian themed projects well, having only Japanese restaurants and Shogun as my knowledge base, so I left he color and design up to Basic Grey by paper-piecing with 'Kioshi'.

For a great tutorial on digi paper piecing, check out Melissa's tutorial
HERE. It's a step-by-step photo tutorial that will evenshow you how to save DP as well.

Oh Jessica, this is so beautiful ! I love the DP - it´s BG right ? Your paper piecing is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely; the colors you chose are beautiful and fit the theme beautifully. I admit that I get in a rut with an Asian theme and usually do black and red but I love the gentle colors here more.
