Welcome to Day 4 of Paper Pretties November stamp release sneak peeks and the official sponsorship of Card Positioning Systems Card Sketch #192!
Here's our CPS Sketch #192, which was definitely a challenge for someone as square-minded as myself!
And here's a close up of Victoria Case's newest addition to Paper Pretties' Teen Scene, 'Best Friends':
'Best Friends' comes with six different phrases, perfect for teen lingo. Or you can use the all-purpose 'Did you hear..' sentiment and pair it with any computer-generated sentiment of your choosing as I did to create a birthday theme for a friend:
Play along with CPS #192 and don't forget to check out on the Paper Pretties' Blog to be sure you don't miss a single preview. Remember, one lucky commenter on the new sets is chosen each day and will be announced on Friday!

DRS Designs Sponsors Card Positioning Systems!
Stamps by DRS Designs: Snowflake Address Label Frame K107, Serve Our Country at Christmas D530, Star background H124. Cardstock: Night of Navy, Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue, GP110 white. Ink: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Versamark. Accessories: Stardust EP, Long Rectangle Nestabilities, SU felt snowflake, Martha Stewart snowflake punch.
DRS Designs is sponsoring this week's sketch on Card Positioning Systems. This card is based on the sketch and also features an 'out-of-the-box' use for the newly released Snowflake Address Label Frame. Or maybe I should say a new 'in-the-box' use? The mailing label area is the perfect size for this sentiment and will create a coordinated set when used as originally designed on the card envelope, too.
Be sure to check out this week's challenge and link your creation for a chance to win a gift certificate!

Instead of Raking Leaves...
Stamps by SmARTworks. Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Kiwi Kiss, Papertrey white, My Mind's Eye 'Bloom and Grow' DP. Ink: Chocolate Chip, Copics. Accessories: Martha Stewart scallop border, Nestabilities Rectangles, sparkly brads.
...I'd rather be stamping!
Inspiration for this card was Card Positioning System's sketch #137 and SmARTworks' October challenge to create a Fall card. As much as I love Fall themes, this fun and retro stamp set was calling my name. So, I ended up pairing it with a retro DP and relying on the colors to create my autumn theme. That's what Fall is all about: the gorgeous oranges and reds, elegant browns, and clear blue skies.
OK, at least for today -- tomorrow it's back to rain. More time for stamping instead of raking, right??

Let's start off the first post with a bang, with the announcement that DRS Designs is this week's sponsor of that wonderful wealth of card sketches, Card Positioning Systems. Here is the featured sketch of the week:
I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to create this card:
DRS Ribbon slides are so versatile; check out their blog challenge this week which also just happens to include blog candy!
So there we have it, my very first post on my very first blog. Excuse the construction dust which will probably be present for many weeks to come. All blogging advice is greatly appreciated!
